Why do you like to trade with SpiceProp?
Answer
I like trading with SpiceProp because the rules are clear, the platform is easy to use, and the overall process feels professional and transparent. I also appreciate the support and the fact that the challenge conditions are realistic for traders who use proper risk management.
Question
What is the most important thing that helped you pass the SpiceProp challenge?
Answer
The most important thing that helped me pass the SpiceProp Challenge was discipline. I followed my risk management rules, avoided overtrading, and stayed patient until the right setups appeared.
Question
What was the key moment in your career as a trader?
Answer
The key moment in my career as a trader was when I understood that success is not about finding the perfect trade, but about discipline, risk management, and consistency. Once I stopped chasing every opportunity and focused on following a clear process, my trading improved significantly.
Question
How long have you been trading?
Answer
Over a year.
Question
What is your trading plan?
Answer
My trading plan is to focus mainly on indices, take only clear setups, risk around 0.5–1% per trade, and avoid overtrading.
Question
What quality of your character helps you succeed in SpiceProp challenge (in three words)?
Answer
Discipline, patience, consistency.
Question
What separates the average traders from the best?
Answer
The best traders know when to act, when to wait, and when to stay out of the market.
Question
Can you tell us about the best piece of advice that has brought you good results in SpiceProp challenge?
Answer
Focus on protecting your capital first. Good opportunities will always come again, but if you lose control of your risk, you may not be there to take them.
Question
Could you share with our SpiceProp Trader community book, online resources, people that are significant in your trading development?
Answer
Tom Hougaard has influenced the way I think about trading psychology and decision-making. I also learned a lot from books by Mark Douglas, especially Trading in the Zone, and from studying price action, market structure, and reviewing my own trades.
Question
Should we learn from ourselves or from others?
Answer
From both. Other traders can shorten the learning curve, but real progress comes from testing ideas yourself, understanding your own mistakes, and building a style that fits you.
Question
What does your ‘ideal setup’ look like? Describe the three key conditions that must be met for you to open a position.
Answer
My ideal setup requires three things to align. First, I want the broader macro context to support the idea — things like inflation, interest-rate expectations, bond yields, major economic data, or geopolitical events. Second, I look for a technically important area with confluence, such as liquidity, supply/demand, an order block or imbalance, preferably aligned with the higher-timeframe structure. Third, I wait for confirmation on the lower timeframe through price action and momentum before entering.
Question
Do you have a morning ritual or pre-session routine that helps you get into the right frame of mind?
Answer
I usually start by checking the economic calendar, major overnight market moves, and the key news or geopolitical developments that could affect sentiment. Then I review the higher timeframes, mark the important areas, and build a short plan for the session before I consider any trade.
Question
What hobby, apart from trading, helps you clear your head most effectively after a tough day on the market?
Answer
Jiu-jitsu, tai chi, breathing exercises, and spending time with my family help me clear my head and reset after a difficult trading day.
