Interview

Why do you like to trade with SpiceProp?

I like trading with SpiceProp because of the clear rules, transparent evaluation process, and the opportunity to manage larger capital while focusing on disciplined risk management.

What is the most important thing that helped you to pass the SpiceProp challenge?

Patience, strict risk management, and waiting only for high-probability setups.

What was the key moment in your career as a trader?

The key moment was when I stopped chasing trades and started following my trading plan with discipline. That completely changed my consistency.

How long have you been trading?

I have been trading for about one year.

What is your trading plan?

I trade major indices, mainly UK100 and US100. I wait for trend confirmation, key support or resistance levels, and strong price action before entering. I always use fixed risk and aim for at least a 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio.

What qualities of your character help you succeed in the SpiceProp challenge (in three words)?

Discipline, Patience, Consistency.

What separates the average traders from the best?

The best traders follow their plan, manage risk consistently, and control their emotions regardless of the outcome of each trade.

Can you tell us about the best piece of advice that has brought you good results in the SpiceProp challenge?

Protect your capital first. Opportunities come every day, but once you break your risk rules, it becomes much harder to recover.

Could you share with our SpiceProp Trader community books, online resources, or people that are significant in your trading development?

TradingView, educational YouTube channels about price action and risk management, and the SpiceProp community have all helped me improve my trading.

Should we learn from ourselves or from others?

Both. Learning from experienced traders shortens the learning curve, but reviewing your own trades is what builds long-term consistency.

What does your ‘ideal setup’ look like? Describe the three key conditions that must be met for you to open a position.

1. Clear market trend.

2. Price reaches an important support or resistance level.

3. Strong confirmation from price action before entering.

Do you have a morning ritual or pre-session routine that helps you get into the right frame of mind?

Yes. I check the economic calendar, analyze the market structure, mark key levels, and only start trading after I have a clear plan.

What hobby, apart from trading, helps you clear your head most effectively after a tough day on the market?

I like to run, I am addicted to doing that. I also go outside to eat and drink something – it helps me relax and clear my mind after trading.

Conclusion

Florina's story is an excellent reminder that the key to success in trading is not the frequency of trades, but protecting capital and waiting for the best opportunities. We congratulate her on her achievements and thank her for sharing her insights with our community!

We wish Florina continued success in her trades and steady consistency in achieving her goals!
