Ambition and Patience as the Path to Success – An Interview with Andreas Dragoș

What is the most important thing that helped you pass the SpiceProp challenge?
Friendly propfirm.
What was the key moment in your career as a trader?
When I started on this path on my own and lost €6,000 of my own money—this was around 2015—I had a strong feeling that my future career was in this field.
How long have you been trading?
Since 2015, but I’ve had long breaks along the way.
What is your trading plan?
€300k account at SpiceProp, working together with them for the rest of life. Wishing to achieve financial prosperity alongside a friendly and serious PropFirm.
What quality of your character helps you succeed (in three words)?
Ambition, perseverance, vision.
What separates the average traders from the best?
Patience.
What is the best piece of advice that has brought you good results?
To control my impulsive decisions.
Significant resources/people in your development?
For me, it was myself and all my mistakes.
Should we learn from ourselves or others?
A little from everywhere, filtering good information from bad information.
What does your ‘ideal setup’ look like?
OB, FVG, Candlestick confirmation.
Do you have a morning ritual or pre-session routine?
Omelette with cheese, coffee, and OBs. I would like to also add 30 minutes of jogging or a few push-ups… at least… .
What hobby helps you clear your head?
I work around my yard.
