What is a Margin Set?

The margin set indicates the percentage of capital that will be allocated as margin. Here are some examples:
Forex: For 5 lots, the margin set is 5%. This means that for a volume of 5 lots, 5% of the total volume will be allocated to the margin (500,000 x 5%). As a result, 25,000 will be locked in the margin for the transaction. For the next 10 lots (total volume: 1,000,000, see the table), 10% of the volume will be allocated to the margin, i.e., 100,000 (1,000,000 x 10%).
