Why do you like trading with SpiceProp?

SpiceProp provides a supportive and professional environment tailored for traders. Their policies are fair and well-designed, giving us the opportunity to grow and develop consistently. It's an ideal platform for both beginners and experienced traders.

What is the most important factor that helped you pass the SpiceProp challenge?

The most crucial element is trading psychology. Mastering your mindset allows you to remain calm and focused, even in volatile market conditions. That’s what really helped me succeed in the challenge.

What was a key moment in your trading career?

Reaching consistent profit targets while staying within strict risk parameters. That moment gave me the confidence that I could manage risk effectively and perform under pressure.

How long have you been trading?

I’ve been trading for two years. In that time, I’ve gone through many ups and downs, but every experience has taught me something valuable.

What is your current trading plan?

My goal is to continue refining my technical skills and, most importantly, to maintain control over my trading psychology. Every trade is a test of both strategy and mindset.

The story of Đặng Văn Lợi can serve as a true inspiration for many traders just beginning their journey with SpiceProp.

What personal qualities helped you succeed in the challenge?

If I had to name three, I would say: strong risk management, disciplined trading psychology, and solid technical analysis.

In your opinion, what separates average traders from the best?

Again, it comes down to trading psychology. The best traders don’t just analyze markets — they manage emotions, control risk, and stay consistent no matter the circumstances.

What’s the best piece of advice that helped you during the SpiceProp challenge?

Always manage your risk on every single trade and remain mentally strong, especially when things don’t go as planned. Consistency is built on discipline.

Could you share any books, online resources, or mentors that have influenced your trading development?

The Fibonacci indicator has been a significant tool in my strategy. I also learned a lot from books on trading methods and risk control. These resources helped shape my approach.

Should traders learn from themselves or others?

Both. Learning from others gives you knowledge and shortcuts, while learning from your own mistakes builds experience. A combination of both is essential for growth.

Passing the challenge and earning a scalable account is undoubtedly a strong motivator. Yet, just as valuable is the experience gained and the improvement of trading skills throughout the process. We wish Đặng Văn Lợi continued success and steady growth on his path as a SpiceTrader!
